Tony Green has been promoting and supporting hip hop culture in Leeds for the past 20 years, bringing us shows from the likes of Roots Manuva, Supernatural, J-Live, Pete Rock, Sugarhill Gang, Masta Ace and Public Enemy. He also co-owned Fresh Jive, bringing in B-Boys from around the globe to do battle at legendary jams, and helped set up Speak to the Streets which continues to use hip hop as a force for positive change in the city. These days his main focus is Released Records, a Leeds label on an electronic tip, but a part of his heart will always belong to hip hop.
